I like Jim Duriga's quote about the truth:

"Regrettably, history is full of lies - the sun doesn't revolve around the earth, the earth is not flat, George Washington never cut down a cherry tree, Betsy ross probably didn't design the American flag, and the Shroud of Turin is now known to be a hoaxs made by Leonardo DiaVinci for the Savoy family [based on an older fake shroud they had]; maybe its best to seek the truth in our hearts rather than in the pages of history books or bibles."
