Jigo is a character who features in the 1997 animated film Princess Mononoke, directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Jigo, or Jiko Bou (as he is known in the Japanese version) is voiced by Kaoru Kobayashi in Japanese, and by Billy Bob Thornton in the English dub. Jigo is a man who claims to be a monk. Jigo is short and overweight, giving him an unthreatening appearance, but he is apparently very knowledgeable about the way things work. He is somewhat greedy, humorous, and slightly mysterious. He is the one who sold Lady Eboshi the guns she used to defeat the boars.
