Jibber Skabing

Jibber Skabing
The term Jibber Scabbing is an ancient ritual technique, performed by village shamans to send lost souls to a better place. This would be performed during a funeral by a council that consisted of ten holy people. This would be performed at various speeds and styles depending on the age and gender of the deceased. The technique was not only used for religous purposes but those who believe in supernatural beings also. There would also be a elderly female ( the banshee) who would performed a song which was known as the banshee wail. She would chant at a high pitch and sustain a single note. This would be performed to put the soul in a peacful state before the jibber skabing would take effect.

Jibbing
This is where you would put your hand out flat and hold your fingers close together and then twist it over so your palm would face up and then down. It would be turned randomly almost like a dance. While the council member is twisting his palm he would also move his hand around on his wrist while holding his forearm straight.

Skabing
This is where someone thrusts their arm out in random directions and then moves it back to their body to send it out into another direction. it would be almost like pointing towards random directions but keeping your hand out flat.

jibber skabing
This is the dance ritual where jibbing and skabing is combined to create the ultimate soul sending motion.

The banshee
The banshee would be the oldest female in the village and would scream out a high pitched not as loud as she could to aid the sending of the soul.
