Jersey MS Therapy Centre

The Jersey MS Therapy Centre is a small Jersey-based charity situated. It was opened in 1987 under the name 'Jersey Friends of A.R.M.S' after donations from Linda Swarbrick, Sheila Butlin and Jimmy Muir allowed for the Centre to be built.
The Centre houses a hyperbaric oxygen chamber for the treatment of many different conditions, and is the reason that the Centre was originally built. In 2003, in order to match the Centre's in England, the name was changed through the Jersey Royal Court to 'Jersey MS Therapy Centre'
In 2011 the Centre was completely refurbished. The Jersey Construction Council donated their time and resources to enable the work to be completed.
From 2014 the Centre is moving towards opening more frequently, and offering its services to a much larger range of people to include MS, ME, Parkinsons, and Fibromyalgia patients.
, the Centre is open on a Tuesday and Wednesday 11-6. The Centre also runs a weekly meditation session on a Tuesday 6-7 and a hyperbaric oxygen session Wednesday 6-7.30. Massage treatments are also available. In the future it is hoped that the Centre will add new support groups and be working more closely with other charities on the Island.
