Jeremy Loffredo

Jeremy Loffredo is a 28-year-old American journalist and reporter. He was arrested by Israeli police on 9 October 2024, after he photographing and revealing the location where Iranian missiles hit the occupied territories by Israel.
His arrest
On 1 October 2024, Iran launched 200 ballistic missiles at Israeli targets in at least two waves, marking the largest attack during the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict. The missile attack was codenamed Operation True Promise 2 () by Iran. It was the second direct attack by Iran against Israel after the April 2024 strikes.
The occupying army of Israel has charged American citizen Jeremy Loffredo, who is 28 years old and works as an independent journalist, with grave crimes with the help of the enemy, for photographing the place where Iranian missiles hit the bases of the regime of Israel and preparing a report on it.
Zionist channel i24NEWS announced that this American citizen was arrested on Wednesday night 9 October 2024, after he was suspected. This channel stated that the arrest of this American journalist took place after he took pictures of the place where Iranian missiles hit, including a sensitive security base in the center of the occupied territories.
This Hebrew channel reported that Loffredo's lawyer strongly denied the accusations against him. The lawyer of this American journalist added about the arrest of his client because of his journalistic activities: "If the enemy is going to benefit from this issue, 15 foreign journalists, including Israelis, should be arrested in Israel."
In the meeting that was held for the accused in the court, it was suggested that he be deported from the occupied territories and returned to the United States, but the Israeli court extended the period of his detention. Jeremy Loffredo is out of Israeli jail, for now.
