Jenni Potts is a 20-year-old musician from Bellingham, Washington, USA, who is currently signed to Clickpop Records. Her full length album Take This and Go is slated for release in April 2008. Jenni Potts typically performs with only her acoustic guitar and voice, but her recordings feature an array of orchestral accompaniment such as piano, strings, vibraphone, timpani, and glockenspiel; as well as electric guitar, bass, and drums. Michael Harris of Idiot Pilot plays bass on many tracks from the album and sings on "A Tunnel City", "Love Will" and "Stay". Idiot Pilot member Daniel Anderson is also credited with arrangement and electric guitar on "Pro LC".
Other artists featured on Take This and Go include: Dylan Rieck (Delay, Prosser, and Crying Shame), Kristin Allen-Zito of The Trucks, Darin Schaffer, Paul Turpin of Clickpop Records, Julian MacDonough (Megatron, Kasey Anderson), and Mike Bajuk of Jill Brazil.
History Jenni Potts came to the attention of Clickpop Records through a CD of demos that Daniel Anderson of Idiot Pilot forwarded to label co-founders Dave Richards and Paul Turpin. They were impressed and she was signed to Clickpop in the summer of 2006. Over the next year, she recorded over twenty songs at Bayside Recordings in Bellingham, WA with producer Paul Turpin. Out of these recordings came the full length album, Take This and Go (April 2008) and the fourth ep (August 2007).
