Jenna Heap is a character in the bestselling book series Septimus Heap, by Angie Sage. She is the adopted sister to Septimus and the adopted daughter to Silas Heap and Sarah Heap. Description Jenna is a small girl, with deep violet eyes and fair complexion. She wears a red tunic which is woud at the waist by a golden sash. Her dark, unkempt hair is kept in place by a thin golden circlet, which denotes that she is the princess. She wears a pair of sandals in her somewhat dusty feet. How she came to be a Heap After she was born, tragedy struck the royal family, whence her mother, the Queen was killed by an Assassin and she became orphan. Alther Mella, the then ExtraOrdinary Wizard tried to protect her, but was killed. His apprentice, Marcia then became the ExtraOrdinary Wizard and took Jenna to safety. She gave Jenna to Silas Heap, whose seventh son Septimus had presumably died that evening. He and his wife Sarah, took her as their own daughter and named her Jenna. She was brought up in the Heap household for the next ten years untill she was discovered by a spy, Linda Lane living beside their room in The Ramblings. In the Story Magyk Marcia comes to the Heap household one morning, and reveals Jenna's true identity. She takes her away to her own safety but Silas and Nicko arrive there. The assassin comes to attack Jenna but they fly from there alongwith Boy 412 of the Young Army. They make their way to the Marram Marshes where Silas' aunt Zelda Heap lives. Jenna is still flustered by the events and can't accept the fact that she is the Princess. She, Nicko and Boy 412 goes out to explore the marsh. They discover the hidden temple of Hotep-Ra and his Dragon Boat. The Dragon speaks to the Princess and Jenna is surprised. She learns that centuries after centuries, the Queens and the Princesses comes to visit the Dragon-Boat on Midsummer Day. On Boy 412's touch the Dragon-Boat starts to fly again, and they use it to rescue Marcia from the Necromancer DomDanile's ship. The dragon tells Jenna how happy she is to fly again. Jenna becomes sad when she has to leave the Dragon-Boat and go back to The Castle. She promises that she will come back again next Midsummer Day to visit her.
