Jeffrey Allen Smith

Jeffrey Allen Smith (born August 7, 1972, in Amory, Mississippi) is a Christian pastor and worship leader from Kissimmee, Florida. He was raised by traveling-evangelist parents who settled in Kissimmee to start City of Life Church in 1986.
At the age of 19, he was signed to a recording contract with Myrrh Records. Along with former Miss America Leanza Cornett, he was a member of the group Area Code, which released a Contemporary Christian album called One Big World in 1993.. Jeffrey also released a self-titled album in 1994 under Word Records that garnered comparisons of his voice to Michael McDonald and Lionel Richie.
Smith arranged and sang vocals on several songs for Marilyn McCoo's holiday album "White Christmas", which released in 1996. He also wrote, arranged, produced, and performed songs for the animated feature film Tugger, which released in 2005.
Jeffrey was installed as senior pastor of City of Life Church on September 27, 2009. Under his direction, City of Life Church has released an independent live Christian and Gospel album, "City on Fire" (2009), featuring Jeffrey’s original songs and lead vocals.
