Jeff Lipsitz (born July 21, 1965) is an American businessman and Co-President of the Cortec Group. Early life and career Jeff Lipsitz was born in New Jersey, US and has attended Union College and received an MBA from Columbia University. Jeff began his career as a Vice President of Corporate Development at PLY GEM Industries. At PLY GEM, Jeff was responsible for merger and acquisition activities, strategic planning, and financial analysis of its ten operating subsidiaries. In 1998, He joined Cortec Group as a Managing Director, was promoted to Partner in 2005, and Managing Partner in 2010. Jeff and David Schnadig are now Co-Presidents of the firm. Under Jeff's leadership, Cortec's most recent fund, fund VII, raised $2 billion from limited partners. Jeff was involved with Cortec's work in businesses such as Tempe-based Cranial Technologies and New York-based Vidaris. Jeff's currently works with executives at companies such as Window Nation, Aspen Medical Services. Jeff was part of Cortec's acquisition of Yeti Coolers and subsequent IPO and has also served on the Yeti Board of Directors.
