Jeff Eden (b. April 19, 1984) is a musician from Baltimore County, Maryland. His music is sometimes described as psychedelic folk (or "psych folk"). Eden is a multi-instrumentalist, proficient on the guitar, banjo, Kyrgyz komuz and violin. He is best known for his fingerstyle guitar music and for his unusual clawhammer banjo techniques. His debut album (Night and Day Songs for Solo Guitar) was released in the Summer of 2008 and quickly gained international acclaim, being selected as a featured album on 2SER in Sydney, Australia and earning a four-star review from Radio Centraal [http://www.psychedelicfolk.com/guitar12.html#anchor_396] in Antwerp, Belgium. An advance copy of his second album (From the New Path, a collection of pieces for solo banjo and solo komuz) earned the praise of Terrascope in August, 2008.
