Jeet bahadur

Jeet Bahadur is a Nepali boy who was lost in India at the teenage. At that time he met immediate chief minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi. Modi who is now prime minister of India gave Jeet to his Nepal family on his maiden visit to Nepal.
Jeet, 27, had left his home in Nawalparasi district of Nepal along with his elder brother Dasrath in 1998 to earn a living in India.
Dasrath had already been working as a domestic help at a house in Delhi and soon Jeet also started working in another place. But unable to cope with hard work, he fled to Rajasthan. There too he failed to find a 'good home' and left.
With the intention of returning home, he got into a train he hoped will take him to Gorakhpur, the town in Uttar Pradesh on the Indo-Nepal border. But instead, he boarded a wrong train that went to Ahmedabad.
"I started showing my concern for Jeet Bahadur. Gradually, he took interest in academics, sports and even learnt Gujarati!" Modi wrote.
Jeet, who is like a family member to Modi, completed schooling from Laxman Gyanpith and is pursuing a bachelors degree in business administration from Rai University, Ahmedabad. Since Modi shifted to New Delhi, Jeet has been staying in a hostel.
According to Indian embassy sources, Modi expressed desire to meet Jeet's family in Nepal during the two-day trip.
Hence the embassy got in touch with them and asked Jeet's mother Khagisara, brother Dasrath and his wife, and younger sister Prem Kumari to come to Kathmandu. Jeet had visited Nepal in 2011 on Diwali.
The family will be arriving in Kathmandu on Saturday. All expenses related to their trip will be borne by the embassy.
"Thankfully, we were able to locate his parents. I am glad that tomorrow the parents would be reunited with their son," wrote Modi.
