Jean-Aimé Randrianalijaona (26 June 1946 — 2009) was a Malagasy hurdler. He competed in the at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Career Randrianalijaona was called one of Madagascar's greatest athletics champions. In 1970, he won the French University Championships over 400 metres hurdles. He president of the School Joseph Gallieni sports association in the 1970s. Randrianalijaona was 5th in his and did not advance to the finals. At a 1971 meeting in Colombes, he ran 50.7 seconds over 400 m hurdles to win the competition. He was 8th in his 1972 Olympic 400 m hurdles heat, running 52.75 seconds. Personal life He is from Toulouse, France. He was part of a family known for athletics in Madagascar; his younger brother Oliver won a Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite in France. He and his brother participated in the rotaka protest movement in 1972.<ref name=rns />
