Jay Hunter is an American actor best known for his roles in television series like "If Loving You is Wrong", “The Rookie” and "And Just Like That," and films including "Max Payne" and "Acrimony." Early life Hunter was born on May 22, 1977 in Buffalo, NY. Raised in a blue-collar family, he credits his work ethic and strong foundation to his upbringing. He played football throughout his youth, eventually attending Westminster College in Pennsylvania on a football scholarship. Acting career Hunter's acting career began with a role on the ESPN series "Playmakers." He later moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time. Despite landing roles in various projects, Hunter also faced significant hardships, including homelessness for several years.
