JNTU college of engineering Vizianagaram is a constituent college of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, established in 2007. It is situated 6 km from Vizianagaram town on a hillock over a sprawling area of 90 acres along Vizianagaram-Gajapathinagaram road surrounded by a scenic view of mountain ranges enduing a serene atmosphere for learning amidst lush green vegetation. Campus JNTU Vizianagaram campus is newly built in 2008 at a hillock area of Vizianagarm, a half an hour drive from Vizianagarm Railway station. The campus is spread over an area of 100 acres. It is going to be turned into research in science and technology in next few years, so as to compete the education with IIT standards.
