Jason Zandamela (born September 21, 2005) is a Mozambican college football center for the Florida Gators. He previously played for the USC Trojans. Early life Zandamela grew up in Mozambique, where he played rugby, before moving to the U.S. in 2020. Coming out of high school, he was rated as a four-star recruit, the 6th best interior offensive lineman, and the 112th overall prospect in the class of 2023. Zandamela held offers from numerous Power 4 programs. He committed to play college football for the USC Trojans. College career USC As a freshman in 2023, Zandamela did not appear in any games after enrolling early. After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Zandamela decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal. Florida Zandamela transferred to play for the Florida Gators. |
