Early life and education
Jared Alvarado was born on March 28, 1987, in Guatemala City, Guatemala. His mother and father were originaly from Santa Cruz de El Quiché, and Sanarate, El Progreso. He attended Ciencias Comerciales Ecogua in Gualán, Zacapa. He graduated as a Professional Accountant in 2005. After completing his secondary education, he pursued a degree in Information Technology Engineering at the University of San Carlos de Guatemala.
Career
Career in Guatemala (2006-2012)
In 2006, Alvarado established his first company as a private accountant, tax preparer, and bookkeeper, advising local businesses on financial matters. Between 2007 and 2008, he served as the Internal Comptroller of Hotel y Parque Acuático Valle Dorado, overseeing financial operations, cost control, and operational efficiency. In 2009, he became the Regional Construction Auditor at Codico de Guatemala, managing financial audits and cost control strategies for large-scale infrastructure projects across the country.
Migration to the United States and career expansion (2012-2024)
On February 12, 2012, Alvarado migrated to the United States, settling in Maryland. He initially worked in landscaping, HVAC duct installation, and electrical contracting. By mid-2012, he had joined Tower Davis as an Electrician Journeyman, a role he held until June 2015. During this period, he completed an Apprenticeship Program and obtained his Maryland Journeyman License.
Founding of K&K Electric LLC (2015-2024)
On August 6, 2015, Alvarado founded K&K Electric LLC, an electrical contracting firm in Montgomery County, Maryland. The company, which started with an initial investment of $250, grew into a multi-million-dollar enterprise. By 2024, K&K Electric LLC had completed over 1,000 projects in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., with a project portfolio including:

In February 2024, Alvarado founded Atlas Build Solutions Inc. (ABS Inc.), an expansive construction enterprise with multiple divisions, each operating under distinct DBA (Doing Business As) names:
* M.E.P. Solutions Group - Specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (M.E.P.) contracting, providing full-service construction solutions.
* ABS Ironworks - A Structural Steel Fabrication & Welding division, led by CEO Lee Barrientos, offering high-end custom metal fabrication and installation services.
* ABS-X - The Engineering Division, focused on designing, stamping, and producing legal documents required for plan approvals and permits in cities, counties, and states across the United States.
* ABC-Drive - A proprietary AI-driven CRM/CMS/Procurement/Invoicing software built on Python and PHP, currently at 60% deployment. This internal software will also be offered to contractors across the U.S. on a subscription model.
