Jan Christoph Alfred Ernst (born 26 October 2004) is a German politician of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) serving as the secretary of the FDP Passau-Land since March 2022. Early life and education Jan Ernst was born in Schärding, Austria. His mother Sonja Ledermueller-Ernst owns an restaurant in Pyrawang, Austria. Currently Jan Ernst is graduating from Maria Ward Realschule in Neuhaus am Inn. Early political career Ernst joined the FDP in 2021. He was later chosen to be part of the board of the Bavarian FDP associations "FDP Passau-Land" and "FDP Pocking/Bad Füssing". Since winter 2021 he has also been press and media officer for the FDP local association in Pocking. In spring 2022 he organized a vigil in the wake of the Ukraine war. Ernst is co-founder of the intern working group "women in politics". He also is an active member of the . |
