Jamil Kusiima Mbabazi

Jamil Kusiima (born 17 December 1983), is a Ugandan environmental consultant, policy analyst, and researcher. This made him known for his credibility and confidence in handling environmental issues, especially concerning health.
Background and education
Jamil was born in Hoima District, in the western region of Uganda. After his progress in academic pursuit from primary, and secondary school to university, he was admitted to Clarkson University a private research university with its main campus in Potsdam, New York.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry awarded from Makerere University Uganda's largest and oldest institution of higher learning and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering awarded from Clarkson University.
Career
For over thirteen years, Jamil Kusiima emphasized the importance of waste management for the sustainability of Uganda’s oil exploration. As the country explores its oil resources, addressing waste management becomes crucial to minimize environmental impact and ensure long-term sustainability.
He has gained notice due to his contributions to development projects in Africa and Asia, funded by the World Bank/IFC, AfDB, USAID, JICA, Exim Bank, international NGOs government ministries, departments, agencies, and the private sector.<ref name":3" /><ref name":1" />
