James M. Ash (born 1956) was a former Partner at the law firm of Husch Blackwell LLP, and is a board member on the Broad for International Food and Agriculture Development (BIFAD). Career James M. Ash is a legal expert on food and agricultural companies with focuses on mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, governance, securities, and various other general corporate matters. He has worked as a plant manager for the citrus cooperative Sunkist Growers, was a former member of Husch Blackwell's executive board, and now serves on the Board For International Food and Agricultural Development (BIFAD). Some of his agribusiness projects include: Russel Stover Candies's sale to Lindt & Sprüngli AG, 's $2.2 billion merger with IHOP, and American Italian Pasta Company's $1.2 billion merger with Ralcorp.
