James and Blackburn is an Indie rock band that is originally from Ottawa and is unique for their style and dance moves while on stage. The Group currently has one official album released entitled "The EP" which includes five tracks which was released on June 16th 2009. The Album was recorded at Little Chicago Studios in Smith Falls, Ontario. The Band has played many shows including two shows at The Blacksheep Innin Wakefield, Quebec which is just outside of their hometown Ottawa. Reviews The tight bond between the three is making for terrific chemistry, and lots of solid songs with Edwards’ poetic lyrics like his idols Cat Stevens and Bob Dylan, wrapped in a blues rock wrap. - Denis Armstrong, Ottawa Sun James & Blackburn are non-instrusive in their music, it's there for you to enjoy unlike some other acts that insist on the hard drive in an attempt to keep their audience interested.
