Jakub Zakrzewski

Jakub Wojciech Zakrzewski (born November 24, 1989) is a Polish entrepreneur and business person in the e-commerce and fintech industry.
Education
Jakub holds a Master of Science in Finance degree awarded by ESADE Business School in Barcelona where he wrote his master thesis on "Cases of Angel Investing in Europe".
Business Career
Lazada
After a small stint at KPMG in Poland, Jakub started at Lazada Group (a Rocket Internet venture).
Easyship
In 2015, Jakub moved to Hong Kong to work for digital logistics startup Easyship (a 500 Startups portfolio company). Here, Jakub was heading up the growth department, while joining again as one of the company's early employees.This proved to be a bigger challenge than originally thought, causing a significant delay in Revolut's launch in ASEAN.
Kraken
Since early 2020, Jakub is Managing Director at digital asset exchange Kraken based out of Singapore.
Awards and Recognitions
In 2018, Jakub was listed in Forbes 30 under 30 in his home country Poland. He has also been recognized in the Top 100 Fintech Influencers in South-East Asia for two years consecutively.
