Jain Acharya Vijay Ratnakarsuri was a Jain monk. Early Life Ratnakarsuriji was born in the village of Salpura,Baroda District of the Indian state of Gujarat on Jain calendar month of Bhadarva, to Poonam Bhai and Chanchal Behen. His birth name was Ram Singh.He is the eldest among his siblings all of whom are Jain Ascetics. Ascetic Life Ratnakarsuri was initiated as a monk at age of 19 by Jain Acharya Vijay Indradinnsuri Maharaja at Bordeli, Baroda district, Gujarat on Jain calendar month of Magshar sud 6 2021. He had 16 disciples, and was the Gachhadhipati of the Vijay Vallabh Samudaay.He was Conferred with the Title of "Konkandesh Deepak". He is the 77th pattdhar of Lord Mahavira. Throughout his ascetic life of 50 years, Ratnakarsuri has done ekasna for 23 years. He has done vihaar across India From Kashmir to Chennai, and Gujarat to Kolkata. His last chaturmas was in the Fort Jain Sangh (The Oldest Jain temple of Mumbai). Recognition As Vallabhsuri throughout his life emphasised on Education.Ratnakarsuriji also continued his legacy and built a college in Ludhiana,Punjab. He himself had made the Design & Structure of the only 36 tomb Jain temple built in the memory of his guru Jain Acharya Vijay Indradinn Suri. He has made many Jain temples of which the most were in Punjab. Death On 23rd December 2014, Ratnakarsuri met with an accident while on his vihaar to Valsad, near Pardi village, in Gujarat.A memorial temple in his memory is planned to be built near valsad.
