Jackson Honeycutt

Jackson Honeycutt is an American singer, songwriter, and indie-rock musician from Garner, NC. Jackson has cited Neutral Milk Hotel, Mac Demarco, and Elvis Depressedly as influences.
Jackson acted and provided music for the film, Son Of Clowns.
Jackson's sister, Arlie Honeycutt, was crowned Miss North Carolina in the 75th anniversary pageant in 2012.
History
Jackson attended William G. Enloe High School, where he performed in the school's music club and choir. While attending high school, Jackson played within music scene with Honest John, and self released a series of Lo-Fi recordings onto internet music site Bandcamp.
Dog Ears And Twilight Hours (2014-15)
Written in a seven month period around the time of his aunt's death,<ref name=":1" /> Dog Ears And Twilight Hours has been self described as the first album where "quality really felt like it mattered."<ref name=":0" /> Over the course of the winter break of 2014, Jackson recorded the single, "Sweetheart I've Noticed", with producer Sam Haw, whom he once performed with in his school's choir. Jackson continued the recording proccess with Honest John in his school's recording studio. Once Sam returned from a semester at college, they continued recording the rest of the album in a spare bedroom within the span of "33 hours."<ref name=":1" /> The album was released on Bandcamp, Soundcloud, and Spotify, with a limited run of cassettes through Quinton's Fun Records.<ref name=":2" />
Untitled LP (2016-17)
During a performance at Raleigh's Space Jam Benefit Concert in December 2016, Jackson premiered new material which he suggested may be released on a forthcoming LP.
