‘Jab se you have loved me’ (English: Since when you have loved me) is a novel written by S.R. Saha (Shubha Ranjan Saha). The tagline of the novel reads as ‘the story of an Airhostess & an IITian’. This novel is published by Srishti Publishers & Distributors and released in 2010. The book is in English. About the author S.R. Saha was born in Calcutta, India and did his schooling from South Point High School. After graduating in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Chennai in 1987, he had joined Indian Airlines (now Air India) as a trainee. Presently he is working as Chief Aircraft Engineer with Air India and based in Kolkata. A number of his short stories have been published in renowned dailies and magazines. ‘Jab se you have loved me’ is his debut novel. Synopsis Atin is a first class IIT graduate. But he sells cheap Chinese gadgets for a living. Ujani is his love interest. She is a first class Bio-Sciences graduate from Calcutta University but does the work of an airhostess. This novel describes how Atin in spite of having a B.Tech degree from a top engineering college, namely IIT, Madras face hardships. The novel starts from a scratch with Atin shown as complete looser and then ends up on a high note. He is supported by his friends Luv, Iqbal, Russel Raj and Rumia who also are the key people in this novel. The novel unfolds the most in it’s last half which makes it a compelling read. In this extraordinary gripping and hilarious story of love, life, friendship and adventure. To see how these young people overcome all odds and finally make it, is worth to read.
