Gelfenstein Farm
Passionate about Thoroughbreds from an early age, Gelfenstein was introduced to the equine industry as a youngster when his parents bred horses in Chile. He owned his first horse at age 24 and has participated in the equine industry for 31 years.
We have one of the finest facilities of the area, with cutting-edge technology and the best professional team highly committed, qualified and experienced in the field, in order to ensure the best service to our customers. The farm has 76 horse stalls, 22 large paddocks, a 4.25 Furlong race track, a training pool with a high-pressure stream, a mechanical treadmill that can exercise six horses simultaneously, along with equine sanitary facilities and large storage areas for food and supplies.

Within the first year of founding Gelfenstein Farm, one of our horses, Bon Accord, achieved fourth place at the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf G1 in Santa Anita, California, on November 1, 2013.

XY Jet, owned by Rockingham Ranch and Gelfenstein Farm. The 4-year-old Kantharos gelding and trained by Jorge Navarro has won three consecutive stakes, including the Gulfstream Park Sprint and Mr. Prospector (both gr. III), at Gulfstream Park before his trip to Dubai. Now, its have had the second place in the $2 million Dubai Golden Shaheen sponsored by Gulf News (UAE-I) March 26 at Meydan Racecourse, which was won by Muarrab at the final meters.

Sharp Azteca
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Sharp Azteca made his graded stakes debut count, taking command at the top of the stretch and drawing off by 2 1/2 lengths to win the Grade 3 Pat Day Mile on Saturday at Churchill Downs. Navarro saddled Sharp Azteca for owner Gelfenstein Farm. The colt was bred in Kentucky by Cloyce Clark Jr.
The six-length victory by the 3-year-old filly served as a perfect prep for the $250,000 Princess Rooney (G2), a seven-furlong event that will part of Gulfstream's Summit of Speed Day July 2 and a 'Win & You're In' for the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1).<ref name="gp_dearest_01"/>
