Israel Shelanu

Israel Shelanu () is a slate that was founded in 2019 and sought to represent, for the first time, Israeli Americans in the 38th World Zionist Congress. The World Zionist Congress is the only elected Jewish institution in which Jews who live outside of Israel can participate in. With an estimated annual budget of one billion dollars, its primary goal is to allocate resources to Israeli and Jewish causes as well as to serve as an official communicating channel to the Israeli government.
The group was founded by the two Israeli-Americans, Shanie Korabelnik, and Kobi Cohen, and is the sole slate led by an Israeli-American female. The slate aims to represent pluralist Israeli immigrants who reside in the United States and focus on the secular identity, culture, and needs of the Hebrew speaking community.
