Ismael Belkhayat (born November 20, 1983, in Rabat) is a Moroccan entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of the start up studio Wib.co, a web incubator in Morocco. He is also the brother of Moncef Belkhayat, former Minister of Youth and Sports in Morocco. Biography Belkhayat is a graduate of ESCP Europe, has a master's degree in law from Panthéon Assas University and an MBA from Cornell University. Career Belkhayat began his professional career in 2009 at the Paris office of the Boston Consulting Group as a junior analyst before becoming a Senior Consultant. He left BCG in 2013 to return to his country and launch the first web incubator in Morocco, Wib.co, considered by Microsoft as the fastest startup accelerator in North Africa. In 2013, he founded in partnership with PropertyFinder, Sarouty.ma, the first real estate portal in Morocco. In 2014, he co-founded with Jawad Ziyat, former president of Raja Club Athletic, VotreChauffeur.ma, the Moroccan leader in vehicles with drivers. In 2017, the round table welcomed Youssef Chraibi, CEO of Outsourcia group. In 2016, he bought the first competitor of Sarouty.ma, SeleKtimmo.com. In 2017, he co-founded with Oussama El Kettani, MaCroisiere.ma, and in 2018 he organized the first transatlantic cruise from Morocco to Brazil in partnership with MSC Cruises. In 2018, Ismael Belkhayat was elected general secretary of the ESCP Europe alumni association in Morocco. an e-commerce application for convenience stores. In March, Orange Ventures, a subsidiary of Orange, joined the startup's funding round. Chari.ma then joined the Founders Program at Station F, the largest startup incubator in the world. A few months later, PlugnPlay, the world's most active startup accelerator, based in silicon valley, invested in Chari. Chari is the first Moroccan Startup to welcome PlugnPlay in its round table. In June, the prestigious accelerator Y Combinator announces the acquisition of 7% of the Moroccan startup. In July 2021, Chari.ma became the first Moroccan startup to join Y Combinator program. One month later, they acquired Karny.ma, a Moroccan fintech app. In July of the same year, Ismeal created with his wife Sophia Alj, the Dislog Foundation, with a budget of 10M MAD with the objective of helping young Moroccan entrepreneurs with projects. Ismael Belkhayat sits on the board of directors of the holding company HnS Invest and is responsible for the development of its subsidiaries, including Dislog Group. He is also co-founder and general secretary of the association LeMarocDigital.com. Politics As a member of since 2016, Ismael Belkhayat leads the movement committee in Casablanca.
