Irek Grabowski

Irek Grabowski was born in Poland, March 22, 1966, and died on August 19, 2010, in Bangkok (Thailand).
Career
Irek received comprehensive music education, both for the violin, and piano. His music high school praised his talent and he was encouraged by teachers at the Conservatory of Poznan (Poland), where he received the title of "Master of the arts" in 1990.
At the Conservatory
During his five years at the Conservatory, he was "Concertmeister" in the Chamber Orchestra "Musica Viva" in Poznan, accompanying it to perform in much of Europe.
His very keen interest in jazz, experimental music and "Pop Music" pushes him to conduct his own groups (in pop, jazz, and rock). His open mind allowed him to collaborate with artists from all genres. While performing as a violinist at the Orchestre Philarmonique Poznan, he was also Professor of piano and violin in a music school.
He was in turn an author, composer, arranger and musician for the violin and the piano.
Outside Poland
In Belgium since 1992, Grabowski appeared with the "Jeune Orchestre de Chambre Française" community. His had a talent to be noticed, and he was invited to play with the Orchestre de Chambre de Wallonie. At the same time, he cut a first disk, as a violin soloist, with the "Art Nouveau in Brussels" musicians.
He continued his career as a jazz musician and appeared in most of the best festivals in Belgium:

* Brosella Jazz Festival
and visited France, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
