Ionel Armean (born 26 October 1991) is a Finnish former professional footballer who played as a left-back. He is currently working for Espoon Palloseura and playing football and futsal for EPS reserve teams in Finnish lower levels. Career Armean was born in Espoo and is of Romanian descent. At the start of his career, he played for Espoo-based clubs Espoon Palloseura, FC Honka and FC Espoo. Armean made his senior debut with Espoo in 2010 in the second tier Ykkönen, before he moved to Estonia in early 2011 and joined Tallinna Kalev in Esiliiga. They won a promotion and Armean played two seasons for Kalev in top-tier Meistriliiga, without making an appearance in 2013. During 2015-2016, he played for Finnish club Grankulla IFK and in August 2016 he moved to Norway to SK Træff. Honours Tallinna Kalev *Esiliiga: 2011
