InterNiche Technologies

InterNiche Technologies, Inc develops and markets source code licenses for TCP/IP and related modules designed to satisfy the communication and device management needs of embedded devices. Modules are written in "C" and are designed to be portable to any 16 or 32 bit microcontroller architecture or embedded operating system. All modules are developed to adhere to RFC specifications published by the IETF. Founded in 1989, the company is located in Campbell California.
Communications modules
The company offers two closely related TCP/IP implementations under the tradenames NicheStack and NicheLite, with the most significant difference between them being that NicheStack supports BSD sockets, IPv6 and multiple interfaces whereas NicheLite does not. Additional communications modules include PPP, SSH, SSL, IPSec and IKE.
Device management
InterNiche provides a number of products for management of devices including SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, SNMPv3, a Secure HTTP Server, an SNTPv4 client implementation as well as SMTP and POP3 modules.
Network management and additional protocols
Other components are provided by InterNiche include a NAT Router, DNS Server, DHCP Server, RTP/RTCP, routing management protocols, FTP, TFTP and Telnet.
Operating systems
InterNiche software integrates with commercially available operating systems as well as the company's freely provided SuperLoop or NicheTask operating systems. NicheTask is a non-preemptive multitasking system available at NicheTask.com
