AFA sent a support letter to Chapecoense club offering free loans from Argentine clubs, Racing Club de Avellaneda and Club Atlético Huracán.

President Michel Temer declared three days of national mourning and requested that personnel from the Brazilian embassy, in Bogotá, be moved to Medellín to better assist the survivors and the families of the victims.
Bolivian airspace authorities saied Bolivian LaMia airline complied all safety and adminstrative regulations, adding that only clubs were aware of the company existance due to the service they offer. One of the victims, Bolivian Sisy Arias, was the daughter of Jorge Arias, a journalist with national reputation.
Avianca, Colombia's flag carrier and largest airline, provided 44 psychologists to help in the counseling of the families of the victims. The airline, by request of the Colombian and Brazilian governments, has also provided logistical support and transportation to Medellín of medical personnel from Brazil to help with the identification of the bodies. On Twitter, Avianca regretted the incident and stated that "our prayers are with the families of the victims".
A rumor of a €40 million donation by club PSG to Chapecoense spread on the biggest sport news sites. A club spokeman denied this to the french media within hours. Edison Cavani, the Uruguayan PSG striker, showed a t-shirt under his jersey after scoring against Angers SCO in support for the victims.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office sent its condolences to those affected by the accident, and sent a three-person team from the Air Accidents Investigation Branch to assist in the investigation. There was a minute of silence before a EFL Cup quarter final match between Liverpool and Leeds at Anfield.
