International Forum on Urbanism

The International Forum on Urbanism (IFoU) is a network of universities and research institutes, mainly in Europe and South East Asia. This network aims to strengthen international collaboration in the field of Urbanism since 2005. Several governmental and professional institutions, which are related to the urban planning and design, are associated members. Current academic partner members: * Beijing University of Technology * Berlage Institute, Rotterdam * Chinese University of Hong Kong * Delft University of Technology * National University of Singapore * Seoul National University * Taiwan University, Taipei * Tarumanagara University, Jakarta * Tsinghua University, Beijing * University Iuav of Venice * University of Tokyo * UPC, Barcelona Trivia Although the Cross-Strait contact between mainland China and Taiwan is resumpted on high level, this is one of the few examples where their governmental institutions actually already work together.
