Intelleflex Corporation

Intelleflex Corporation, located in Santa Clara, CA, is a developer of Extended Capability RFID. Through the use of battery-assisted passive RFID, Intelleflex products are able to deliver extended range, reliability, memory, and security. As a worldwide company, Intelleflex offers complete solutions to customers in the perishable food and pharmaceutical cold chain, equipment and personnel management, and Logistics, as well as other Asset Tracking markets.
Intelleflex helped to define and write the ISO/IEC 18000-6:2010 standard for Battery Assisted Passive (BAP) RFID.
BAP RFID combines features of both passive and active RFID. Building on the successful EPC C1G2 passive RFID Standard’s relatively simple, low power communications protocol, the new BAP Class 3 Standard enables new capabilities previously only available with active RFID including long read ranges in excess of 100 meters, reliable performance in RF challenging environments and support for sensors. Compared to active RFID, BAP-based solutions don't "beacon" which reduces battery consumption and extends the life of the tags.
Intelleflex XC3 Technology platform consists of chips, tags, reader modules, fixed readers and mobile readers.
Intelleflex is privately held and funded by Arcapita Ventures, New Venture Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures and The Woodside Fund.
Types of Tags
STT-8000
The STT-8000 is a tag used for multipurpose asset tracking applications indoors and outdoors. It has a read/write range of up to 100 meters (+300 ft). The tags can be placed on non-metal reusable containers, pallets, parts bins, and withstand typical outdoor conditions.
SMT-8100
The SMT-8100 tag is designed for use on metals, liquids and other challenging environments. Regardless of tag orientation, it has a read/write range of up to 100 meters (+300 ft). The tags can be placed on reusable totes, heavy machinery, trucks, rail cars, cargo containers and more.
TMT-8500
The TMT-8500 tag is a temperature monitoring tag for use in cold supply chain applications. The tag is designed to be read inside a pallet or container, without unpacking or opening.
BAT-8300
The BAT-8300 tag is used for personnel tracking, zone locationing and asset security applications, the tag provides new levels of control, security, and accountability. BAT-8300 tags have a read/write range of up to 100 meters (+300 ft).
Types of Readers
FMR-6000
The FMR-6000 is a fixed multi-protocol reader that supports for ISO/IEC 18000-6 and EPCglobal C1G2 standards. It can reliably read and write at 100m (+300 ft) or inside packaging and pallets. It supports two pairs of antennas.
HMR-9090
The HMR-9090 is a handheld multi-protocol reader that supports for ISO/IEC 18000-6 and EPCglobal C1G2 standards. It can reliably read and write at 100m (+300 ft) or inside packaging and pallets. It is designed for mobile applications.
