thumbnail Intan Kirana (born Intan Ayu Dewintya Kirana) is an Indonesian author. She has written 2 books, Prosa Layang-Layang and Waktu Pesta. Her new novelette and short-stories will be published in the end of 2013 Intan Ayu Dewintya Kirana was born at Semarang, October 1992, of Java descent. She was educated at Al-Alzhar 24 Elementary School, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, then continued to studied at SMPN 5 and SMAN 3 Semarang. She then took France studies in Universitas Indonesia for bachelor degree. Intan starts to write in the age of 12 years old when she started to read the books of Nh. Dini. She then joined a xompetition of making poems at Kawanku Magazine for Valentine Edition and won for the 4th place (with the title 'Februari Bagi Sang Patah Hati'). Then, she was busy to write her first novel project, Prosa Layang-Layang , which was published in December, 2012. Her editor then asked her if she eanted to join the short-stories book project named "Waktu Pesta", and she rwrote 3 short-stories on that project. Now her goal is to finish her novelette and fantasy novel projects.
