Informosphere

The word informosphere comes from information and atmosphere to illustrate that information is so important to everyone. It first appeared in the book Globalisation of Economy: Vision of the Future(published in 1995), under the article by Dr. N. A. Karim. It did not have strong connection with Internet in its context there, but already included the concerns that no authority or person can deprive the right of others to access true and enough information. With the rapid development of Internet, the freedom of communication and cleanness of information become much more important than before. A Chinese in HK coined the related Chinese term and gave ten descriptions to the concept.
Another similar terms is infosphere, which is already use quite popular in philosophy of information. However, this word informosphere catch the importance of the information accessible to all people and its necessity to anyone's healthy living.
