Incursion: Halls of the Goblin King is a single-player roguelike video game originally released in 2007. It is inspired by other roguelikes The Mines of Moria, The Pits of Angband, and Nethack, among others. It is loosely based on material from Dungeons and Dragons, and makes use of material released by that games publisher, Wizards of the Coast, under the Open Game License. Incursion is billed as a promo for the upcoming Incursion: Return of the Forsaken. It is still technically in alpha testing, with limits on character advancement and some unimplemented features, though it remains a fully playable roguelike game. |
