In for a Penny is an upcoming British television comedy game show. The show will begin airing on ITV in early 2019 hosted by Stephen Mulhern. It was announced after numerous trails on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway that the show would get its own series. Format The idea of the show is that a member of the public gives Mulhern a penny and seeks to win a prize by taking part in numerous funny challenges that Mulhern asks them to do. One of the games that will most likely be on every show is the "Stopwatch Game" where the person who is taking part has to stop the watch at around the time Mulhern ask them to stop it at. According to the producer the show will include "Real world games that you would play in your head or with your family." He continued, "guess the weight of the suitcase" that game was played when the show was filmed at Norwich Airport. Production locations The show is presented live from different locations every week. The show has visited places such as Essex, Glasgow, Leeds and Norwich.
