Immunome Research is an open-access peer-reviewed scientific journal in the field of immunology. It was established in 2005 and covers "immunomics", a combination of immunology and genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics, as well as mathematical modeling. It is currently published by OMICS Publishing Group, a predatory publisher that was delisted from PubMed because of its editorial practices. History Immunome Research was established in 2005 by BioMed Central. As BioMed Central wanted to close down the journal because it did not publish enough articles, it was moved to an open-source journal publishing system in 2011, with Nikolai Petrovsky Publishing as its new publisher. It is currently operated by OMICS Publishing Group. Article types Immunome Research publishes the following types of articles: * Research Reports * Reviews * Commentaries/Editorials * Database articles, describing a new database or a substantial improvement of an existing database * Hypotheses: short articles presenting an untested original hypothesis backed solely by previously published results rather than any new evidence * Meeting reports * Methodology articles * Software articles Abstracting and indexing Immunome Research is abstracted and indexed in Chemical Abstracts Service, EBSCO Information Services and Scopus.
