iMagic OS is a Linux distribution based on Kubuntu. It uses KDE as its default user interface, and Compiz for 3D effects. Versions * The discontinued Home edition included Crossover Pro & Games Full. It came with many applications, often with overlapping features. * The discontinued Business edition included Crossover Pro Full Edition & Crossover Games Full Edition, as well as a user interface similar to Windows 2000 or XP. It had less software, but included Klamav, KMyFirewall, Koffice, OpenOffice.org 2.4, and other productivity applications. *The Pro edition has every feature in all previous versions as well as a changed desktop, an integrated support system, additional software (multimedia, IM, Internet, antivirus, and a development suite), and wireless capabilities. It also includes a customized version of Avant Window Navigator. ** The Pro 2009 edition also features web applications, including iMagic OS Downloads, run by Mozilla Prism. Bundled software iMagic OS is bundled with many software applications, including OpenOffice.org, KOffice, AbiWord, XBMC, GIMP, Google Earth, and Skype. Notably, it is also bundled with a licensed copy of both CrossOver Games and CrossOver Linux Professional. Package management iMagic OS uses magicOnline for package management, but Synaptic Package Manager is also included.
