IL Lusciato also known as Lawrence A. Krayn Jr. (born 1985) is an american recording artist, music producer and BMI registered Composer. and radio personality He is of Italian and Irish decent and currently resides in New Jersey. Musical Career A classic "indie" artist, Il Lusciato's genre is considered to be hip hop, but as of recent he can be classified under Nu Jazz/electronic as well. In early 2004 IL Lusciato established After Hours Recordings and Promotions LLC, however 2 subsequent albums saw little but local success. HIs 3rd project Deacon Blues however, gained some notoriety which led to distribution talks with Sony-Urban NYC. Hard Copy distribution was indefinitely halted however because the success of his second hip hop release, White Picket Fence was harmed due to heavy internet pirating. As a result, IL Lusciato's latest release - 12 Jazzy, Housey, Lounge Jointz was only released via digital mediums. IL Lusciato is best known for his initial 2 hip hop albums, Deacon Blues and White Picket Fence which fused elements of keyboard/electronic Jazz with New York influenced drum patterns and lyrics. His new work shows much heavier influences of electronic and house music. Notable Work IL Lusciato has 3 notable EP releases. Deacon Blues (2006), White PIcket Fence (2008), and 12 Jazzy, Housey, Lounge Jointz (2011). Each is available mainly through distribution outlets in New York,l New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts and online. In 2009, IL Lusciato composed a Theme song for MTV's Jersey Shore. The record was not well received however, and was perceived as joke-like. Although not ultimately taken up by 495 productions, A YouTube version of the song has gone viral and has become a net sensation.
