Hugo Burdon is an Australian cricketer. Early life Burdon was raised on the Gold Coast, Queensland and began playing cricket for Surfers Paradise at a young age. He graduated from The Southport School where he played a pivotal role in the school's First XI cricket team winning back-to-back-to-back Premierships in Queensland's prestigious GPS competition. Burdon began playing Queensland Premier Cricket for the Gold Coast Dolphins in 2018 where he made his first grade debut at the age of 17. T20 career Burdon signed to play with the Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League in December 2021. International career Burdon was named as a substitute fielder for the Australia national cricket team during the second test of the 2021-22 Ashes series. |
