Hotel Hotel

Hotel Hotel is an instrumental post-rock band from Austin, Texas. The band is made up of violinists Patrick Patterson and Emily Burns, guitarist P. D. Wilder, bass player Tim Wilson, and drummer Edward Warga. They are currently signed to Silber Records.

Initially formed as a side project from the Texas band/collective CAN(d/t)A in the summer of 2005, Hotel Hotel has released three EP’s. One on the Texas indie label, Lo-Bango Sound, entitled: allheroesareforeverbold, which was recorded live in one take in a old haunted house in Austin, Texas. The Song titles are based on the Stages of grief. The EP has received favorable reviews. A second EP was released summer 2008 as a prequel to The Sad Sea entitled: under sea, over storm and was recorded live in Denton, Texas. A third EP, The Ghost of Room 55 was released as number 004DD as part of the Drone/Drift series on Lo-bango Sound.

In 2007, They signed to Silber Records and began recording their follow-up The Sad Sea which is due for a fall 2008 release .

While the band is known for having other musicians sit in during live shows, official past members include: Evan Caverninha (percussion, drums, dulcimer, organ, samples), Philip Boone (keyboards), Francesca Riedle (violin), Justin "Notes" Lemons (guitar), Paul Overbey (guitars), J. Adam Butera aka Amputee/Swim (drums).

The band was featured on the soundtrack of the 2006 short film, Gooseberries and the 2008 documentary, Keep Your Ear on the Ball.
