Hosinshu is an Indian art of self defence founded by Syed Abdul Mueed and named by him in 2005. Hosinshu is largely a synthesis of Karate, Kungfu, Jujutsu & Kickboxing.
Dance or Form In Hosinshu Kata is named as Dance or Form. Dance is the literal meaning of the Japanese word "Gata". In Hosinshu forms are considered to be the main source of learning the use of Hosinshu techniques. There are 30 traditional forms in Hosinshu. Training Mental Training Almost 70% of Hosinshu training is mental training. Mental training is the most important part of Hosinshu training.
Physical Training Apart from the regular training Hosinshu has four specially arranged routines for physique development. Devil Stamina This routine is used to improve the stamina and speed of running by the means of the exercises like Running, Skipping and Swimming etc. Stone Fist This routine is used to make the fist as hard as stone. After practicing this routine the fist will become senseless and extremely hard Iron Arms This routine is used to harden the arms so the even if the arm were used to block, it should do some damage to the opponent Killer Leg This routine is used to harden the legs and making kicks speeder.
Ranking as per Course Yellow Belt: Stance, Footwork, Punches, Backfist attacks, Chop attacks(shuto) & Boxing. Green Belt: Kicks and advanced sparring techniques. Orange Belt: Elbows, Knees & Grappling. Blue Belt: Long Cloth fighting, Nunchaku fighting & Knife fighting Red Belt: Tonfa, Short staff & Long staff Brown Belt: Rapier, Chinese Straight sword & Chinese Broad Sword Black Belt: Long Sword, Falchion & Great sword.
