Holy Family Catholic Academy

Holy Family Catholic Academy provides Preschool, Elementary and Middle School education in a Catholic Christian environment. The school serves students from 2-year-old preschool through 8th grade. Holy Family Academy is a ministry of Holy Family Catholic Church and a member of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago.
Campus
Holy Family Academy is located approximately 25 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, IL in the suburb of Inverness. The 20-acre campus is located at 2515 Palatine Rd. in Cook County Illinois. In 2008, the Academy moved into a new 40,000 square foot building.
History
Founded in 2002, Holy Family Academy was the first new Catholic elementary school opened in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago in over 35 years. The school was formed under the “grow-a-school” model wherein an academic grade was added each year. In 2002, the school had 29 students.
In 2007, after collaboration with Harper Community College in Palatine, IL and Loyola Academy, in Wilmette, IL, Holy Family Catholic Academy began a Middle School program. Middle School students study science, math and technology at Harper College’s nearby facility.
In 2009 the enrollment approximates 300 students in grades 2-year-old preschool through 8th grade.
School Motto
Holy Family Academy’s motto is “Every child a leader, every child a thinker, every child grounded in faith.”
Extracurricular Activities
Holy Family Academy offers Spanish, Art, Physical Education and Music beginning with Pre-kindergarten students.
In addition the Academy offers the following extracurricular activities:

*Cross-Country Skiing
*Golf Lessons
*Interscholastic competition in the Northwest Catholic Conference for both boys and girls sports including:
