Hockerty

Hockerty is a Swiss e-commerce platform for made-to-measure clothes founded in 2008 with officec in Zürich, Barcelona, and Shanghai. It has production facilities in Shanghai, China and Toledo, Spain.
History
Hockerty was founded in 2008 by Catalan friends Humbert Codina, Alberto Gil and Andreu Fernández in Zürich, Switzerland as tailor4less. Spanish economic newspaper Expansión tells, that an idea to start Hockerty came to Andreu Fernández while he travelled to China on a work trip and decided to make a suit which was of a bad quality. Together with his university friends they gathered €10,000 to start, which was used to travel to China to make agreements with local tailors.
In July 2008, the company started to sell made-to-measure men's suits and shirts. In 2015, the company launched a brand for women called Sumissura. The company rebranded in 2017 and changed its name to Hockerty.
In 2020, the company started shoe production and made-to-measure production. Hockerty launched a made-to-measure jeans line in 2021.
Since 2010, the platform has been using a measurement estimator tool, an algorithm that estimates measurements of customers.
2022 spring collection has 31 outfits with 81 new fabrics according to the German fashion magazine Ajouré Men.
Partnerships
In July 2021, together with the launch of made-to-measure jeans, Hockerty has partnered with Kermin Group and Advance Denim to reduce the consumption of water, energy and chemicals in the jeans' production.
In October 2021, the company started a partnership with its first brand’s ambassador and model, recordsman Spanish Olympic champion and five-time medalist in the kayak discipline Saúl Craviotto. A special fashion line dedicated to Craviotto was presented in Barcelona with his participation.

Okdiario, Spanish digital newspaper, described Hockerty's online 3D designer for measuring clothes as "the fastest fastest web designer in the world-, which allows customers to view their creations in real time".
notes that Hockety is one of the firm that does the online suit measuring the best, and also uses help videos to assist didital clients.
Online newspaper El Español mentioned Hockerty as "the largest online company of bespoke suits and shirts".
La Vanguardia, Catalan daily newspaper, indicates that Hockerty actively uses in its suits "mixed linen and cotton fabrics that wrinkle much less and maintain their weight and breathability properties".
Operations
The company's major production is located in most populous city of China—Shanghai, (focused on makin clothing) with a factory in Toledo, Spain (focused on making footwear). Vanity Fair indicated, that the expected capasity of artisan shoes production in Toledo is 5,000 pairs.
Hockerty offers 500 various fabrics as of December 2021 and has customer in 142 countries according to ' magazine.
