Synopsis Madhab Babu stays at her brother-in-law's house who is an ex-jamidar of Latanpur. Madhab Babu is also an ex-jamidar of Hetam-Garh but now most part of Hetam-Garh has become a jungle as the river Saraswati has changed its path and the old palace of Hetam-Garh is now lost in the Jungle. People says that there must be some treasure hidden somewhere in that palace and Madhab Babu himself believes it, too. His nephew Paltan, has a pet monkey, Ghatotkoch. One day Madhab Babu gone out of temper and leaves home with his gun as Ghatotkoch steals his spectacles and dentures. But eventually he finds himself in the police custody. Soon he manages to escape with the help of his old gardener, Banmali and Ghatotkoch and reaches the jungle of Hetam-Garh to hide where the treasure is hidden.
