Powers

Players can choose one power from this list at the beginning of a game.

Claire Bennet

You are able to regenerate a dead pawn. You do this two of your moves after the pawn was taken. It has to be placed back to it's original place, if this square is occupied then move it to an adjacent square. It comes back on at the end of your second move after it had been taken. It cannot be placed back in a square that would put the other player in check or check mate unless you can put the pawn no where else.

Hiro Nakamura

You get two moves per turn. You are able to move two separate pieces or the same piece twice.

D.L. Hawkins

You are able to phase through one piece when you move. This can be an enemy piece or one of your own. For example you could move your queen through your pawn in front of it 3 squares forward on your first turn.

Peter Petrelli

Before or after your move, you can move one of your opponents pieces one square in any direction. This can only be done once per turn. You cannot move the others players king into check or check mate. You cannot move a piece that would result in the other player being in check or check mate. You can only move the other player's pieces not your own.

Ted Sprague

Once per turn one of your pawn's can self destruct. Your own pawn is killed in this process. You can explode in two patterns. The first is that all pieces (yours and your opponents) in the white squares adjacent to the pawn are removed. The second is that all pieces (yours and your opponents) in the black squares adjacent to the pawn are removed.

Sylar

You are able to freeze 2 of your opponents pieces per turn. These pieces cannot do anything for one move.

Claude

You have invisible pawns. The other player cannot see them until the pawn takes a piece or the player decides to reveal it. If the pawn is accidentally taken then it is removed. It is advised that the player controlling the invisible pawns writes down where they are to avoid any confusion.

Eden McCain

You are able to control every 3rd move for your opponent. If you do this you cannot move instead. You cannot move a piece that would result in a check or check mate. If you don't move the other player's piece on the 3rd move then you can move it on the 4th, 5th...

The Haitian

You negate any power that directly effects one of your pieces such as Peter's power. Also you negate any power that your opponent's pawns have such as Claude's power. You do not negate powers such as Hiro's power as it does not directly affect you.

Takezo Kensei

You are able to regenerate a taken piece every 5 moves. A regenerated piece goes back to its original place where it was at the beginning of the game. If this is occupied then place it in an adjacent square.
