Introduction Hero Glamour is a deluxe segment bike from Hero Motocorp. There are two models under the Glamour brand, the Hero Glamour and the Hero Glamour FI, which has fuel injection technology in place of the carburettor and was developed after the split up with Honda. It has a 125cc ASFS engine that creates a swirling motion of air as it enters the combustion chamber. This increases the fuel efficiency, and reduces the emissions as well. Design Hero MotoCorp Glamour comes with a contemporary look to suit the urban Indian rider. The front of the bike has a sleek and stylish bikini fairing that houses the crystal clear lens headlamp which is powered by a halogen bulb. The tinted visor that gives an aerodynamic feel, and the front mudguard has a sporty dual colour theme. The instrument console of the Glamour has the analog and digital combination meters: the speedometer is analogue while the trip meter and the fuel gauge is digital. Features A new feature named real time mileage indicator has been added for checking its fuel efficiency. The levers and the palm grips have been designed ergonomically and share the switchgear with Hero Splendor. The rear is simple with a semi-circular tail lamp and a sleek and long exhaust with chrome finish. Launch Amongst the 15 new models showcased at the Dealer conference in Macau in 2013, Hero introduced refreshed avatars of the Glamour and Glamour FI, which will be launched in 2014. The mechanicals remain intact and there are no drastic changes apart from some visual tweaks. The 2014 Hero Glamour and its fuel injected version get updated with new paint job and body graphics. Along with the cosmetic upgrades, the manufacturer has redesigned the dials on the instrument cluster for a fresher look
