Hermione Thompson

Hermione Thompson is a British book editor.
Thompson joined the editorial group at Hamish Hamilton (now a part of Penguin books) in 2019.
Since becoming an editor, Thompson has published the works of Avni Doshi, Ekow Eshun, Sophie Mackintosh, Sarah Elaine Smith, Lara Williams and Rafia Zakaria.
Mackintosh’s book The Water Cure was the first book that Thompson bought.
She has helped to edit many books, including: Shafak’s The Architect's Apprentice, Claire Harman’s Charlotte Brontë: A Life, Rachel Lichtenstein’s Estuary: Out from London to the Sea and Lara Williams‘s Supper Club.
