Heaven Grey was a Latvian Gothic-doom and dark metal band. It was formed in 1993 and soon became one of the most famous bands in the Latvian metal underground. It began as a death metal band, then changed the style. The band's lyrics were both in English and in Latvian. The band broke up in the late 1990s.
Guitarist Sigvards Blazevics died of cancer in 2004. The leader and vocalist of Heaven Grey, Ansis Melders, was killed on 24 September 2005 in a motorcycle accident.

Vjaceslavs, Ervins and Ernests will join their forces once again on March 31, 2007 for a commemoration concert to Ansis and Sigvards in the club Melna Piektdiena in Riga, Latvia.
